Legal Basis
Appointment of Trade Commissioner or Honorary Consul is legally authorized by Vanuatu Foreign Service Act and is taken by Ministry of Foreign Affairs International Cooperation and External Trade. Diplomatic status and diplomatic passport of the nominated Trade Commissioner are also based on the above mentioned Act.
